This academic unit of the Trust was established in the year 2002. The vision of IVS is to prepare professional and humane teachers for the school and to impart quality teacher education to enlighten and empower the student and teacher fraternity. IVS follows modern and innovative methodology of teaching. This institute is recognized by NCTE (National Council of Teacher Education, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India) & approved by DHE (Directorate of Higher Education) of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Career prospects include teaching jobs at schools (depending on the graduation or post-graduation degree being held by the candidate besides the B. Ed. degree), editors for school textbooks, reference books etc. Eligibility A 3-year Graduate or 2 year Post-Graduate degree with at least 50 % marks. There is a relaxation of 5 % marks in case of SC/ST/PH Candidates for admission into BEd. Along with the minimum qualification, a candidate should have appeared in the Combined Entrance Teat (CET) conducted by GGSIPU, Delhi for admission into BEd course. Along with the Minimum qualification, the profession demands that the person should be clear about his/her thoughts, as they will be instrumental in shaping the future of young, impressionable minds of children. The person should be able to explain those thoughts as well in a way that can be understood by the most uninterested students they will be teaching
