Hans Raj College was established by the D.A.V. College Managing Committee in 1948 in the sacred memory of Mahatma Hans Raj. The college seek inspiration from Mahatmaji’s dedication & selfless service to education.
Hans Raj College, an institution par excellence, is the pride of Delhi University. A prestigious and progressive educational institution of India. Hans Raj College is one of the top ten Colleges among the 12,600 Colleges of India and easily one of the most sought after Colleges in Delhi University.
In the academic year 2012-2013, the students of Hans Raj College won 05 Gold Medals for their academic achievements in the examinations conducted by the University of Delhi. In total 70 positions have been secured by our students, out of which there are 23 first positions, 27 second positions and 22 third positions. Our College also won 8 Championships in sports this year and was awarded Chancellor’s trophy for the year 2012 -2013.
